LLumar Magnum® protective films are easily installed on the interior of the glass and provide virtually invisible protection. Multiple layers of strong, clear, special grade Mylar® polyester film are bonded together with a unique adhesive to form a shield that holds glass in place. Yet for all their strength and durability, LLumar Magnum products have outstanding optical clarity.

Also, all LLumar Magnum products block much of the sun's harmful UV rays protecting health and reducing fading. A solar control safety series adds high-performance in addition to security. Up to 79% of the sun's solar energy can be rejected saving energy and reducing HVAC expenses.

LLumar Magnum® protective films are made using DuPont Teijin Films (Adobe PDF 1.25 mb) in our ISO-9001 certified manufacturing facility. Magnum® Films are made with layers of polyester film bonded by special adhesives.

Easily installed to the interior of new or existing glass, the film forms an almost invisible shield that holds glass shards intact when a pane breaks. Various levels of protection are available to address different hazard levels.
